Disk Permission problem
Hey all. I am having what appears to be a unique problem with Panther. When I try to repair my disk permissions I get a message in the middle that says "Disk Utility has lost contact with the DiskMAnagementTool". I have reinstalled my system on a different drive and it still hapens in my computer. It's an MDD 1.25 dual, and I am running OS 10.3.8. Anyone run into this? IS this a hardware problem?

Did you recently download an iTunes update?
I had the same problem after installing the most recent iTunes update (6.0.4 i believe) on OS 10.3.9. There are threads relating to this on the Apple site. Short term solution is to take your iTunes application out of the applications folder onto the desktop while you repair permissions. Hope this helps. -Josh
