Default Any Q\'s about PT7? submit them here...

Hey everyone,

I'm sure you've seen my questions around all over the place and i tank you all for yoru help. I hope that now i can give something back.

I've aquired a job with Firehouse Productions and As part of my training i'll be going to the Javits center in NYC Oct. 9th to 12th where the new PT7 will be displayed. If anyone is interested in knowing any critical questions about the PT7 I'll try my best to get them asnwered by the digidesign people them selves. The owner of Firehouse Productons will be attending this event aswell... we are probabyl providing the audio systmes for it now that I think of it... But anyways... We had the first 2 Digidesign Venue boards ever made. and he gets all of the stuff before anyone else basicly. So, if anyone has questions aobut the new PT7 post them here and I'll take a list down with me so I can try to contribute back to you guys.

thanks

Jonny

P.S. If there was already a post abotu PT7 jsut let me know... I havent' been around the DUC in about 2 months.

No really so much as PT7.. maybe if you could get any insight on potential new hardware in the works? Hell, they might even have new hardware there.
Thanks!

I'll put it on the list. I think it woudl be cool if they came out with a Digi003 and 003r that wasw Firewire 800 with 16 preamps... or atleast have the 8 inputs but have 2 optical outs and ins so that we cna have 24 ins and outs using ADAT at 24/48.... or 16 at 96/24.... but thast jsut what I think.

Anyways.. and my things people want to know?

Hello. If you go to the Javits on the 11th and 12th of October you will not find anything about Digidesign, Pro Tools or anything to do with audio. The AES convention is from Friday October 7th to Monday October 10th.

how about checking to see if they added any more busses?

and to see if you can make some tracks in the mix window be narrow while some can be wide, kinda like how u can control the sizes of the edit window tracks.

i guess thats all i can think of that i would like to see.
