Default Bouncing to disk problems (wav, aiff-c, mp3, aiff)

Hi!

i have a custom built XP system running an 002Rack. killer systems, works great. but i have been running into some problems bouncing my songs to disk in WAV format. when i do that, and burn them, it doesnt seem to work or play on any CD player. i was able to burn them to disk as AIFF files, but alas, they will only play in Winamp for some reason.
are the AIFF files compressed (AIFF-C ?) I cannot seem to convert anything. basically, i am having trouble bouncing anything to disk in my 002, which makes it almost useless to me in some right.

anyone have any ideas? is something wrong with my system? are there any programs that convert AIFF-c to wav? etc...

any help would be appreciated.

thanks!

Remember to bounce to disk as 16-bit interleaved / 44.1Khz. I know a lot of CD software out there will autoconvert that stuff but you can never be too careful. Never leave for someone else to do what you can do yourself easily.

thanks for the help!

i tried bouncing them as WAV at 16-bit/44.1 interleaved. burned ok and played on the computer fine. but it would not work in a normal CD player. this is frustrating. does it have something to do with being a Broadcast Wave? im not sure what that means...

still frustrated, but thanks for the replies!

Are you burning a red book audio CD or a data CD.. when you put the CD in your computer.. how are the files listed?

What software are you using to burn the CD?
