wont accept payment
This is my first post. I am almost done with my 30 evaluation of Pro Tools. I decided to subscribe to the yearly option paying $29.99 a month. However, every time I try to purchase, I get the reply either that my payment option failed, or they were unable to verify my payment. I keep hitting brick walls in trying to reach Avid. In using the "contact" pages, they will ask for an order number. Of course with a trial there is no order number. I tried their toll free number - same problem. I use my 2 debit cards or my PayPal account many times every month in the USA, Europe, or other places with virtually no problem. In contacting my banks and PayPal customer service, I am informed that none of them ever got a request for funds at all. My contact information is correct in Avid. I could purchase the full year subscription from Sweetwater Music - if I paid the year in advance instead of the monthly option. I am retired with high medical bills, and right now that is not possible. for such a prominent company, I have never ever had such problems with something like this. at this point I have no idea where to go next. Thank You.

You might also try a different browser, but I am a fan of buying from a retailer instead of direct as retailers like sweetwater tend to have better support in this kind of situation

Since you're retired and on a tight budget, is Pro Tools really necessary?

Welcome to the community and sorry for the trouble. There are options to get support for store issues at avid.com/learn-and-support/contact-audio-and-music-support but I started a case for you. Please look for a reply soon.
