Re: Unable to read I/O Settings file?
I have seen this error since 12.3 when creating a session from template but have not had time to try and track down what is causing it.

Re: Unable to read I/O Settings file?
It isnt preventing a template from opening and working. thats what is bizarre. I am checking my template IO settings for characters or anything that Pro Tools may not like.

Re: Unable to read I/O Settings file?
It's only happening on one template I use which is stereo in and stereo out so it is very easy to recreate the I/O.
I have tried to open the original session that I used to make the template and saved it as a template again but I kept getting the same error. I screwed up and over wrote the original session on Saturday so I have to recreate the template. Will try that and report back also.

Re: Unable to read I/O Settings file?
Just upgraded from 10 to 12.5.2 and I am seeing this behavior when selecting last used i/o. As one user stated the i/o is fine and everything works, its just a random annoyance. I know this thread is almost a year old, but wondering if a cause was found.
Thanks, Rich |

Re: Unable to read I/O Settings file?
I'm not clear on what the issue is. Do you mean you are trying to open and read the .pio file in the IO settings folder? Can you post a screen capture of what/where the issue lies?
