Default Deleting Demos

Okay, I thought there was a sticky on this, but I can't find it. I keep getting prompted to authorize the Digi Translator when I boot up. It doesn't keep me from using PT but it's annoying.

How do I get rid of it?

I would assume it's like removing any other plug-in. You can try the uninstall feature. If that's not available and you want a more direct approach, go into your plug-ins folder and move the translator.dpm and translator.dpm.rsr files to the unused folder..

Now for the fun part... You're on a Mac... so I have no idea of where they are..

On a PC they're in c:\program files\common files\digidesign\dae\plugins

On an apple they're likely to be in the core, struedel, or sauce directory... I dunno.

Peace!

Yeah just Delete them which is Mac's way of uninstalls(scary to me but it is what it is) Or as Danny mention, go to the Library/applications/digidesign/plugs ins & move those plugs to the unused section & Voila...

Thanks both. I finally found the documentation and what I actually had to do to uninstall was trash the OMF bundle and then empty the trash. Didn't expect it to be called that.

It's called that, because that's what it does. The DigiTranslator allows for export as OMF and AAF files.
