Kontakt2 2.2.3 Crashes Pro Tools

Create a brand new session and goes to " import / session data " and import instrument tracks from the old song first.
It works!
Now import all other tracks and save as "old song name" at original location and re-open the song.
It works!

I end up doing this a lot of the time, because of one issue or another with older sessions. But wouldn't have expected it to get around this problem. Nice fix!

Try to delete all the Cash files in the User Cashes Folder and in the Main Library Cashes Folder and see if this works.
I would do this every time there is something installed or changed by the installer in the User and/or Main Library Folder...

I didn't see any "Kontakt" files in the user or main caches and I don't generally delete caches. What do you delete from the caches folder?

We would like to point Pro Tools users to a problem with the latest Kontakt 2.2.3 RTAS update. The "Kontakt stereo" plug-in in this version will not provide additional outputs. As a result of this, it will not be possible to load sessions made with earlier versions of Kontakt 2 where one or more Aux tracks receive an additional output from a Kontakt stereo plug-in.

Users who need to open such sessions or who plan to use the additional outputs of the "Kontakt stereo" plug-in are advised to stay with Kontakt 2.2.1 and not to install the Kontakt 2.2.3 update until further notice.

I hope this will help to avoid eventual problems. If you still have related problems with Kontakt 2, please contact our tech support team.
