recording and cursor problems

Hi there!

I have strange problems with my Pro tools system.
Sometimes when I record I don´t hear the input. Sometimes only the first seconds sometimes thru the whole recording.
Sometimes it works perfect.
The other problem is that from time to time the cursor selects everythink while moving it.
Therer is no other way to get out of this bug as switching to the finder and back to Pro Tools.

I´m using PT7.3 on a G5 PPC Dual 2,7 with 10.4.8

I have seen this problem on very long live recordings. I believe I was using 6.x at the time. Early in the timeline it works fine, further on down the timeline (a couple of hours), sections would get selected just by moving the cursor. I reported the problem but never heard of a cure from Digidesign.

You should use at least use 7.3.1 cs3 because 7.3 has dangerous errors!!

Then the accidental selection should be gone then.
I think this has been fixed already in an early 7.3cs release
