Default C4 and noise reduction

I know most of you are headed to AES right now but I thought I would give this question a try. I am curious as to how some of you are using the C4 for noise reduction. I have tried a few thing with moderate success and I am wondering if there is someone out there that has a preset they might like to share as a starting point. I have tried to start from the 2 band and 4 band noise reducer setups that come with the plugin but again, what am I missing. (The touch probably) Any info would be great.

C4 is a great noise reduction tool!

I would suggest soloing each band to dial in the expansion you need, then with all bands running, make global adjustments.

Thanks Charles, that is definately the technique I have been trying to master, except for doing global changes after soloing. It does seem to help, I just think I need to learn the finess side of it. Practice makes closer to acceptable.

I tried the Pro Tools preset site but there doesnt appear to be any noise reduction presets for the C4 on it, only mastering presets. So if anyone has got some noise reduction presets for the C4 they would like to post that would be very helpful to give us a atarting point.

Thanks,

Mike.
