compatability pt free on Mac and PC
I'm a Radio Producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC).
I'm about to buy an Apple Mac to work from home, but at work they use PCs. My question is: Is a session created on PT Free 5.0.1 for Mac compatible with PT 5.1.1 LE on a PC? Cheers. Jacqueline |

Re: compatability pt free on Mac and PC
I don't think there's a direct way for a PC to open any Pro Tools thing made on a Mac
I'll bet you can bounce session regions as WAV files and the PC will be able to import them into a session's playlist, but I'm not really sure of that, either. Macs can read most PC stuff, but not the other way 'round. Hope you can figure out a way to make the Mac work! Deirdre B.

Re: compatability pt free on Mac and PC
if you upgrade both systems it will be compatible. ptle 5.1.1 for mac or pc are interchangable, if the sessions are saved with the compatibilitybox checked.
