Default Why has the 11.3 install file changed?

The 11.3 installer I downloaded on December 19th is 762.5mb in size.

The 11.3 installer I downloaded on January 11th is 762.6mb in size.

There is no note concerning this change, and I would like to know what exactly has changed between these two installer builds? Has the issue of 11.3 breaking thunderbolt communication been addressed yet?

Video engine installer issue when upgrading from a previous version, details here.

Linked from here:
Pro Tools 11.3 Info & Downloads page:

Late Breaking Technical Issues
  • Pro Tools 11.1.x Satellite Link and Video Satellite compatibility updates (details)
  • Owners of ReVibe, Space and X-Form should update to the 11.2.2 versions of these plug-ins (available from the individual plug-in pages or your Avid account)
  • Installing Pro Tools 11.3 over a previous Pro Tools 11.x installation may cause a video engine problem. Please delete the existing Pro Tools application before installing 11.3. See this article for more information.

Default Re: Why has the 11.3 install file changed?

I went to the page that Bruce linked to and understand the reasons.Went to my Avid account and downloaded the Mac installer build number 83829 which the page linked to says is the latest. However I'm confused. The downloads page in my account shows the Mac installer at 865.91 meg however when I do a 'get info' it shows the size at 908 meg on disk (907,970,893 bytes). Now I understand the differences with the numbers bases and all that but how does one account for the approximate 40 meg in size difference between the web page in my account and the actual download size? And neither of these numbers correspond with what the OP posted.

Also someone might want to post that there's a new update to 11.3 in the PT11 forum in the sticky section.
