Default Hard Panning Issues in PT LE

Hi,

When I want to make a hard pan left or right, there's an "signal leak" in the opposite channel. I've tried this in 2 different CPU's and 2 different mbox's.

In the mixing screen it appears to be ok, no signal in the opposite channel.

It happens with headphones and monitor out

Heeeelp...this is driving me crazy!!!

Mbox 2 and Mbox mini with PT LE 8.0.3

Then it's probably not there.
It's more than likely coming from your monitoring or headphones.

Try doing a BTD and then listen to that on something to see if the panning is correct.

I'm pretty sure it is not the connection...it is between the software and the mbox. When I plug the headphones directly to the mbox, the same thing happens.

That really means nothing.
As I suggested before, do a stereo Bounce and play it thru something else besides the mBox.
That will tell you if the panning is there or not.
