Whatever happens to Space AAX-DSP!?

Didn’t Space exist as an AAX-DSP. I remember vaguely that there was some sort of bug and they pulled the DSP part. But that was quite some time ago, did they just ditch it and not tell anyone

Not all plug-ins are fully supported in DSP Mode. (PT-266587) Some AAX plug-ins, including Avid Space and Nugen VisLM, are incompatible with DSP Mode and are only available with Pro Tools | Carbon in Native Mode. These plug-ins will be bypassed on tracks in DSP Mode.

Thank goodness we’ve now got Chris Bové (Avid’s Online Community Manager and Customer Advocate) – who’s offered to monitor our problems fairly, so when heaps of people “vote” for something to be fixed – Chris will prioritise it.

So since it was never followed up on, is it safe to assume they abandoned the DSP version!?

Space in DSP has never been abandoned.
It is there today.

What unkJE is saying is Space does not work in DSP for Carbon because Carbon has limited DSP resources.

Not necessarily, according to Chris - seems it all depends on how many others add a Post to your Thread, requesting "a true DSP version" of Space.
