It isn't. All UVI from Avid were "subscription" (time-based)
All the UVI licenses will no longer work now (even if you see it in your account -- the time-limited term is up)

ok, I searched for it on the Avid site, and found an article saying 'The Avid Falcon AAX license is not renewable beyond January 31, 2022', so I guess you are right. thank you, I will correct it where listed. bw. morten

Is your product/ description still accurate with Avids new 3 tier subscription plan?
It was my understanding that ultimate was gone?

And current owners could :
A, stay where they are, "locked in time" as far as updates.
or B: pay 800/ year to stay compliant with the ultimate replacement, "Flex"

very interested in the accurate answer.

Ultimate is not gone.
Flex is the subscription version of Ultimate.
Perpetual license is still Ultimate.
The program is the same and at the highest tier.

Perpetual Ultimate costs US$399/year to keep up to date
