Default No sound on xmon main out

I recently acquired a blue d-command with xmon and it took me a week trying to sound something, but it has been impossible, which is why I start this post.

Use Protools HD10 10.3...

I have followed all the steps indicated in the manuals, as you can see in the images I attach.

There's no way to have the pink nois that I'm generating in PT in the channel 1 of the snake connected to the MAIN OUT (L) of the xmon. In fact, there's no sound in any of the remaining 7 connectors. I have tried another snake and the same thing happens. I really hear strange noises, similar to interferences.

Any ideas about what may be happening to me will be welcome.

Thank you!.

Best regards

Assuming the following...
1. You’ve hooked everything up correctly
2. The db25 cables are wired correctly
3. The 192 analog outs are wired to the Xmon
4. You have speakers hooked up that you know work

I can only offer you this information based on your pictures

You have one photo of the monitor section of the D-Command. In that section you have Alt selected, not Main. If your speakers are connected to the Main outputs of the Xmon and you have chosen the Alt speakers you will not hear anything out the Main.

Hi!,

Thanks for your quick response.
Maybe I've not choose the right photo for showing CR.
You are right, but I've tested several times with de Main activated, sure!
Waiting for any other idea.

Thank you very much!

Reset your d-command completely. I have a feeling your monitor section is misconfigured. Also, are you sure your Xmon serial cable is hooked right and the mute light is off on the x-mon box?

Hi Bscout,

I did a reset restoring to initial firmware version and had same problem, then I update to last version showed in the pics.

Xmon serial is connected correctly and fixed with screws. But.. sometimes mute from d-command is ok (mute light is On on xmon) and sometimes muting from xmon doesn’t turn on red light on d-command mute button.

And what do you mean about “misconfigured” monitor section?

So.....

Thank you very much!

Are you able to unmute the xmon by pushing the mute button on the D-Command? I can't tell from your pics but do you have the control surface cable hooked up? It would be to the connection on the xmon as shown in this picture.

Yes, xmon is unmuted and muted when I unmute and mute in d-command, but not in reverse (from xmon to d-command)
