DB25-TRS - This has to be an error, right?
From the all product guide:

quote:
The DB25-TRS DigiSnake, 12' is a DB25 to balanced -10dBV TRS snake, accommodating either analog or digital signals. Both ends are marked by matching orange jackets with appropriate labeling. This snake is 12 feet long.

Looking at the DB25-TRS DigiSnake cable, I'm hoping what I'm reading is an error. The balanced TRS plug is not really padded down to a -10 dBV level, is it? Balanced -10dBV would certainly be an odd format. I would assume that the other, unbalanced DigiSnake with TS 1/4" plugs would be -10 dBV. Lee Blaske |

Re: DB25-TRS - This has to be an error, right?
Hi Lee...
Yes, this is an error. Thanks for catching this! The snake in question is in fact a DB25 to TRS balanced, with no padding. We will remove any reference to -10dBV. However we will also be offering a padded snake, a DB25-TS +4 dBu/-10 dBV Padded DigiSnake, 12’, which should be listed on our site soon. This is where the mix-up derived from. Again, thanks for catching this. Matt May Digidesign Product Management
