7.4.2 is 'Supposed" to fix the problems with 7.4, such as the TDM plug-in windows being all white. But I haven't tested it personally so it'd be nice to hear from someone who is actually using it.

We haven't officially tested this yet and all I can say is that we know it launches and that the TDM plug-in window issue seems to be resolved. Beyond that we don't know if it's stable or if there are any specific issues that may prevent it from working properly.

Once we finish qualifying this, we'll post information to our website.

I was trying to start it today using a blank DTDM template. It would always crash when I tried to change audio preferences, DAE pane from 16 to 24 bit -- first it would crash Logic then it would crash my computer.

I have a Mac Pro 2X2.66 Dual Core, running ProTools HD 7.4.2 and Logic 8.0.2.

Seeing as the last post was July 10th, and it's already the end of August, I wondered if there was any progress.

I'm not having any problems here, nor with switching sample rates.

Do you possibly have Digi HW selected in the Core Audio panel as well?

Have you tried trashing both Pro Tools and Logic preferences?
