Thanks,
but, I have read dozens of posts before buying this Sonnet Echo III Desktop the problem mentioned in the thread you are referring to is when HD native is attached, not HDX

Redmount, did you allow security access when it asked you for permission to use the microphone?

Recovery mode start done, lowered the "security level" to normal (btw, I translate from my french system to english, so possibly not that accurate)
nothing changes... grrrrr.

UPDATE :

Looks like i'm on my way to Pro Tools heaven

1- Another attempt of recovery start. This time I have checked both options on the lower security status. This was the best move !
2- after restarting once or twice, System showed the "driver" for the card as installed !
3- I ran a digitest now that the card was visible... Digitest OK
4- a pop up message told me a HDX card firmware update was to be applied

5- restarted again, launched PT, set HDX as a audio engine... restart PT... Was prompted to update the firmware... Done.

Fresh start, and boom, hardware setup shows my card and interfaces !
Thanks for your help and educated leads
Raf

Did anyone figured out how to install the necessary driver for HDX card to be "installed" in the PCI area and be seen as connected and compatible while while connected via Sonnet Thurnderbol chasis?

I have a Sonnet Echo HDX version, an HDX card and Pro tools 2024.3. on my mac studio ( M2 and Sonoma 14.1) and Also a Mac book pro 2019 with Monterrey ... It is not recongnized or connected...

Both sites shows compatibility ( Sonnet and Avid) so Iam assuming it may be a driver thing.. I downloaded the latest available Pro tools HD Driver but that did not fix it for me... Wondering of someone here got it solved?
