pro tools. exe- entry point not found. HELP!!!

Thanks for looking at this post. I just installed pro tools onto my computer and I keep getting this message when I try to load it up. I get exactly this: "PRO TOOLS. EXE- ENTRY POINT NOT FOUND. The procedure entry point??1cmn_polyvectorimpl@@qa@x2 could not be located in the dynamic link library cfnd.dll." Is there anyone that can please tell me whats going on here and how I can possibly fix this problem. Hit me back and let me know something whenever one gets the chance. I would appreciate it, thanks.

Need more details;

• Which version of Pro Tools? (please be specific, including all numeric version indications)
• From which medium are you installing it? Disc? Download?
• Are you doing a full install, or updating a previous version?
• What Digidesign hardware do you have?
• Computer system details?

thanks for checking this post out. I am using pro tools le 7.0. I installed it with a disk. I believe I did a full install. I bought this computer used I do know that pro tools was on here at one point. The hardware I am using is m box 2. And the system thats on my computer is windows xp. I hope that this info works out for you. Thanks for taking the time.

This is most likely due to a corrupt registry entry, or a program component conflict from a previous version being installed.

This has also been known to happen if you install only an updater without having a full version already on the computer.

I would recommend trying the PTNuke uninstall utility and re-installing from the disk.
