Can't hear audio playback through the same playback engine
I was trying to record guitar tracks through my Mackie ProFX12v3 into my MacBook M1 Max. The recording goes fine, the outputs of the tracks are set to Analog 3-4, which goes out the LR jacks in the mixer. I plugged these jacks into a headphone splitter so me and the other guy could hear. When playing, the live sound comes through fine, but when I just try to play back what we recorded, I get nothing. I switched the playback engine to the MacBook Speakers and now I can hear it just fine. Is there a way to get the playback to come out while I'm still using the Mackie? I was hoping I could monitor the live sound while playing, as well as hear the playback, through the same set of outputs.
