D Show Noise in FOH-connected sources
All, I'm posting due to an ongoing issue I'm having with one of the older D Show units we have. Looking to upgrade soon, but still would like to get a little more time out of this system if possible. We are experiencing what sounds like digital noise on a few channels that are patched (analog) into the FOH rack.
Example of the noise can be seen/heard at the link below. The noise shows up on 4 analog inputs from a Focusrite unit we use for playback, as well as in an analog insert path we are using. Insert path is FOH 16, and the other four channels are routed in FOH 11-14. We've done the maintenance on this FOH rack, and even changed the power supplies - all to no avail in alleviating this issue. Any insight or thoughts would be welcomed! https://www.dropbox.com/s/f9b2r8td7q..._5563.MOV?dl=0 |
