HELP! "Could not complete your request because an error..."

I'm trying to open some Pro Tools files sent to me by an engineer in Memphis and I can't open the session files. It gives me the error message "Could not complete your request because an error occurred while reading the document." What is all this about? They came on an DVD and I copied them to my drive. I can open a new session and import the wavs, but cant open the sessions files. Can anybody help?

What version of ProTools do you have and what versions are the files that were sent to you?

I have the most up to date version of pro tools 7 on a mac os 10.4.1. The files are pro tools 7 also, but may have come from a pc.

Any updates on this issue? I just got the same error while trying to open a session I made a few weeks ago. It's a PT10 session, opening up on the same computer I created it on. Running PT 10.2.0 on Mac OS 10.7.4. I have a feeling it's just a corrupted session....
