weird (not white noise) in right speaker in any app

weird (not white noise) in right speaker in any app

I have a g5 mac os10.5.8 and LE 8. Anytime the digi core audio manager is open I get a weird sound in the right speaker. It happens in every app..itunes, Toast pro tools etc whenever the core mgr is open.
It only happens on my profile on the computer.

Any suggestions?
