Default Windows Logo

I recently installed Pro Tools LE 6.1 for a windows based system with an MBox I got a while back and during installation I got a message saying that the Pro Tools software does not pass Windows Logo testing. I clicked "continue anyway" and the installation appeared to go smoothly, but each time I attempt to open Pro Tools LE I get the blue screen of death and my computer restarts.
Does anybody know what to do?

A good start would be to post details about your system configuration.

Operating system, Hardware.

Start there...

Then we can help you.

Welcome!

BigWill:

what version of windows?

Processor?

Ram?

Version of PT?

what security do you have running on your computer?

what other applications are running when you attempt to open PT?

connected to the net when you're trying to open?

wireless card enabled?

Raid?

system specs would be good for starters as requested above please.

No, a good start would have been reading the getting Started Guide (installation Manual) where the "Windows logo testing" issue is covered in detail.

BigWill, You need to:
  1. Download and install 6.4
  2. Download and install the 6.4cs6 plugin update
  3. Download and install the 6.4cs9 program update
  4. Download and install the Documentation
  5. Download and install the latest PACE interlok drivers
  6. Make sure you trash your prefs and databases after updating (How To is mentioned in the General Troubleshooting thread).

You're trying to run a very old version of Pro Tools on a newer version of Windows. All of those updates links I just gave you are for free updates.
