Default CPU part II

Thanks for all the great info. I have a PIII 800e asus P3B-F 256 SDRAM 100. I am not sure what to do at this point. It works OK but not as I'd hoped. I also have A IBM SCSI 160 18GB 7200 for recording and a baracuda ATA @7200 for the OS. I get low CPU, increase the buffer. Anyway any advise?
