Davec: 24 or16bit? 128-1024 samples?
On the first page of 'best desktops' thread there is a link to the specification of the DaveC test.
Am I missing something coz I dont see it there whether it should be 24 or16bit? 128-1024 samples? Anyway which are they? Or is it whateve works best. I spotted the 44.1Khz spec, but many other variables are still seem to be 'undetermined'. Tapani |

Bit depth doesn't typically affect the results. Lower rates get better results, as do higher buffer settings.
Most people are using 44.1/24 and 1024 buffer.
