Default Xmon Eucon App and TB2

Hi all, I have just set up an X-Mon interfacing with Eucon via the midi box and have a couple of questions.

Firstly, I don't seem to be able to utilise TB/2 input which operates on the separate TB/LB/UTIL DSUB. Is there any trick to utilising this via the software?

Also, is there anyway to cahnge the name of the sources, cues and speaker outs?

Thanks!

Greetings,

If not using the device with D-Command or D-Control, much of what you are asking for can be done with the Avid Control app.

Thanks Jeff for your reply.

In my testing, actioning the talkback button using Avid Control does not utilise the Talkback 2 Input through the TB/LB/UTIL DSUB input 1.

I have previously controlled the X-Mon through both D-Command (which has a select for INT and EXT talkback, and a TMC-2 controller which allows you to specify TB1 (which is internal) or TB2 (the external through the DSUB.

It seems that the X-Mon app only allows control of a single Talkback Input, which I assume is the Internal. Is that correct?

Re the renaming of Sources and Speakers, are you able to detail how that is performed? Many thanks again for your assistance!

To enter custom speaker name:
From Avid Control (21.6+)
1 In the Monitoring view, double-tap a Speaker Selects label.
The tapped tile becomes highlighted, and the on-screen keyboard appears.
2 Enter a name, then tap Enter to hide the keyboard.
3 Repeat to enter custom names for other speakers.

I believe only the primary TB Mic is utilized with this specific workflow - which is still leveraging the TB LB UTIL DSUB connection on the XMON:

best,

Thanks Jeff. I’ll have another shot with the DSUB input. It does seem it should be supported according to the doc

Renaming works great thanks :)
