Default Help needed with DJ mix album

Hey Guys

I'm currently working on a mix album where every song runs into each other: The CD has no pauses. I want to be able to mark the places where I want ID's. I'm currently BTD in PT and then exporting to WaveBurner Pro, where I place the ID's.

What I was wondering was, is there any way of marking within PT where I want the ID's to go, so that in the bounced file the info is there for WaveBurner(or even Toast)? In WB there is an option to import SDII Regions and/or SDII markers. What are SDII markers?

The way I always do this is have the finished stereo file on a track and separate the audio where you want the track markers on the cd. Then, you have to do a BTD for each newly created region and name them according to the track on the cd. Then I go to Toast and select the files, put them in order and burn them. In Toast you have to make sure you select Disc at Once and set the gaps in between songs from 2 seconds to 0.

Here is a good way. Bounce your entire CD as one continuous track in ProTools. Import the track back into a Pro tools session.
(This can be done in the bounce by checking import, you must bounce as split stereo to do this)
Then in Pro Tools select each region (where you want the IDs to start) and Seperate Region. Name these regions and Export Region Definition.
Then in Wave Burner, go to Preferences and select import Regions. Also set default Gap to zero.
Select the file that has the regions you want and import into Waveburner. You will get al the regions set up in Waveburner with zero gap. You should now have IDs set at the beginning of each region you created in ProTools.

Thanks guys.

Mark, I think I will do what you said. That way I can make markers in the session. If I BTD an then import to a track, I can place the cursor at the markers and seprate regions pretty quickly.
