Has anyone used apple's "Setup Assistant" to transfer everything including all Pro Tools software and plug-ins from a G4 Mac to a G5 Mac or will I have to re-install all my Pro Tools Software ??

he means Setup Assistant. When you buy a new mac you have the option to tranfer all your settings to your new computer by putting the old one in Firewire Target disk mode.
try it and tell us how it goes!! |
