Grab that Total Studio bundle. It's worth it for Amplitube 3 and Classik Reverb alone.

But get it from Audiodeluxe.com for $83.99.

I'm contemplating that as I already have Sampletank 2.5xl and the full load of TRacks processors but not the reverbs. A couple of things I wonder about: given I already have the TRacks stuff (except for the reverbs) I wonder if I'd run into any complications with duplicate licenses for what I already have? And the second one is - Amplitube 3 alone is $200 US - is this really true we'd get the full Amplitube 3 and not just the Custom Shop which I already have? I know what the website says but still I wonder how can ikmultimedia do this?

As an aside - for those contemplating this and wanting Sampletank 2.5 xl - be aware that's it's 32 bit only. If you want to run it in PT11 hosted in MB7-2 or Patchworks you're going to need some kind of bridge to have it work. Sampletank 3 has been rumoured for some time but has yet to see the light of day.

Jack,

In double checking this, yes, it seems too good to be true but you really get all that stuff. Not only that, but the Amplitube 3 that comes in this collection also gives you the Jimi Hendrix and Metal collections as well.

As for the double licenses, a few years ago I got a bundle that included a few different products, and in this case, they still came with separate serial numbers, so that may still be the case here. Even if not, I'm sure they deal with this all the time.

As you probably know, you would register the serial number for Amplitube 3, but you don't have to install it (in fact you shouldn't, as it may cause confusion). You would just open Custom Shop and click "Restore My Gear", and it will permanently authorize all the additional amps in that collection that you don't yet have.

In your plugins, you would still open your same Amplitube 3 as the host for all the amp products you have whenever you want to use it.

Wow - that DOES look good !!! However, look at this from their site:

*Note: Not all products are 64-bit or AAX compatible. AmpliTube 3, T-Racks 3, and CSR, are both 64-bit and AAX 32/64-bit compatible, however, the workstations are 32-bit plugins and not yet compatible with AAX 32 or 64-bit, including: SampleTank 2, SampleMoog, SampleTron, Sonik Synth 2, and Miroslav Philharmonik.

Hi

IK CSR works great in PT11HD here with the compressors and EQ's and in PT10HD aswell on 32/64bit AAX

What happens if you go into the Custom Shop and choose "reset my gear" or something like that, sorry, am at an airport and can't remember what that click is called but restore my gear or reset my gear and restart PT11 and then it should have repaired so you can use the plugins individualy without the whole CSR "shell" where all the plugins are, quite annoying so try this if you haven't already.

Best
Christopher

From IK Multimedia website

Quote:

If you are a registered user of CSR v1.0 select the “RESTORE MY GEAR” function in the Custom Shop (under the MY GEAR menu): the four CSR modules will be available under the T-RackS shell and as single plug ins (CSR v1.0 and v4.0 can be installed on the same computer)

Part 2:

CSR’s four reverb modules are now part of the T-RackS Custom Shop, which means they can be used in the T-RackS CS processing chain like all the other modules. They can also be run as single plug-ins in VST, RTAS, AAX and Audio Units compatible hosts, that support 64 bit operation. End Quote:

Hmm... This I bought into the Group Buy earlier this year, got all 5 of the instruments for $80. But no expansion tanks or reverb. I'm actually interested in the expansions, but I'm not buying anything more from IK until they make the Sampletank series AAX.
