Default Install Instrument Expansion Pack on separate HD?

Hi,

The HD of my Macbook is getting crowded and has only 20GB available. I cleaned up as much as I could. The first installation disk (out of 5) of the Instrument Expansion Pack tells me that the Pack can only be installed on the Macbook HD, and not on the peripheral that's connected to the 003 Rack+. But this install requires 35 GB.

Has anybody experience with that problem? Is it possible later to choose only a partial installation, or to load parts of it on the separate HD?

Thanks

I load the programs (VIs) on the system drive and all of the samples on a separate drive used just for sample content.

Thanks,

I could only load everything on the main hard-drive (had to make room by deleting other things). Then I was able to move the content of the AIR suite on the external hard-drive and use the Content Location application to let PT know where the different parts had been stored.
