Default Mac Combined Update

I have recently upgraded to PT 8.0 LE. I have been receiving the software update notification from Mac, prompting me to upgrade. I have had issues with Pro Tools after a software update on previous versions (7.1.1). I need the updates, but do not want PT issues after. Do I still have to do the combined update with this new version of PT?

Default Re: Mac Combined Update

You don't have to, but it is still recommended:
Mac OS X Requirements with Pro Tools
