Default 7.x to 6.x conversion

My Macbook HD died today... I was running 7.1.1 and now need to open my sessions on a older G5 in 6.4. If I sent someone 20 of my 7.x session files could you save them to the 6.x format? That way I can keep working for the few days that the ol' Macbook is getting a new HD. I would really appreciate any help!

Thanks!

Jason D.

Is it possible to use the "Import session data" command to import the tracks from your 7x sessions into a 6.4 session?

No.. because 6.x has no idea that the 7.x format exists.

He can email the session files (no audio) to anyone with Pro Tools 7.x who can save them as 6.x versions and email them back to him.

Create a partition or use another drive in the G5, install 7.x on Tiger open the sessions and resave them as 6.
