Default V12.4 Commit through hardware, latency issue

I'm having latency issue's when committing a track containing a hardware insert with 12.4.

The track is perfectly phase aligned when playing the live insert back, but when committed there's noticeable phase incoherence.

I'm bussing the drum tracks to one AUX, "Drum.Bus", this has a pre-fade send to the parallel compressed track "Drum.Bus.pl"
which includes the hardware insert.

Anyone having this issue?

I've included two MP3 files, one of the live track and then of the committed track. I've also included two screen shots, before and after.

Rename .pdf to .mp3 to play the audio files.

I went back to 12.3.1 and the problem stilll exists, but the actual offset is smaller on this version compared to 12.4.

Somethings going on.

Default V12.4 Commit through hardware, latency issue

So you're doing the commit in real time obviously and you have the off-line button unchecked

Do you see any difference when you actually bounce the the track in real-time to the external hardware?

Yes in real time and the offline button is greyed out.

I will try a bounce and see if there's any difference.

A real time bounce results in the same issue.

Rock solid phase when running live, in parallel, gone when committed or bounced.

What's your buffer set to, out of curiosity?

Track delay compensation?

Interface?

I'm running 48kHz through Apogee 16X's.

Hardware Insert Delay is set to 1.22ms as Apogee recommends.

Buffer set to 32 resulted in the same offset as running at 1024.

Delay compensation is turned on.

How's printing back into the session going? Is that okay? Solved issues for me over online and offline prints.

Printing through the session into an audio track works as expected, no issues.

Got this to work eventually? I have a solution (although not an explanation) if not.
