Newly purchased 11-Rack won't boot past the initial screen after power-up.
HELP!!!!!!!

If you turn it off, then back ON, then will it boot up?

Unplug the usb cable from the PC for now as well.

Unplugged USB & tried again. Still frozen.

Also tried holding down the REV/MOD/FX Loop, which I saw suggested in another post. Still nothing

Thanks in advance for any other help!

well crap because i was going to suggest you do just that.....

Just to be clear, you hold down REV-MOD-FX LOOP while booting, so have them held before you turn it ON. Eleven Rack will 'stick' on the startup screen. After it sticks on screen, then reboot it. Turn it off, give if 20 secs or so, then turn it back ON.

Avid Customer Support is closed until monday. I'm a new convert to PT, so I've never had to contact them before.

Are they pretty responsive?

Well im not sure what else you could do if it wont boot. If you just bought it, then I would send/take it back to the place of purchase right now and get a new one. If its a physical store, I would test the new unit there, before bringing it home.

Are forum threads monitored by Avid staff? How likely is it that forum administrators with direct connection w/ AVID Support respond?

I know it's prob a dumb question, but I just joined forum yesterday & am still getting a feel of the place.... Thanks
