Default Midi Editing Help

Having got video working in the Pro Tools M-Powered Demo I'm now trying out midi editing with the video clip -

What I'd like to do is loop an edit selection, say 16 bars of midi - so I've got "timeline follows edit selection" clicked - and then have the timeline scroll through it and be able to stop at a point, edit my midi notes, listen to changes I've made *without the edit selection loop being deselected* and then press play again and the timeline starts from where it stopped, not from the beginning again.

Seems that pressing stop atm deselects everything if "timeline follows insertion" is selected.
Not complaining, simply want to know the best way to make this happen/work around it.
Thanks for any help.

Default Re: Midi Editing Help

Join me in my quest for dedicated loop markers in PT via the feature request form.

Until then, turn on the single key commands button and press N. Thats as good as its going to get.
