Default Big Problem Help

we are running 7.3.1 le ,at
48 /24.

we have been getting a error -6088 with a increase buffer error.
i have changed the firewire card and the fire wire. we have a pen. quad and 4 gigs of ram. it has been running like a champ but all of a sudden we started getting these errors. It sounds like some kind of a conflict, but i don't have a glue of what it could be.
not only do we have to keep increasing our buffer size but with that comes latency. ( not good)

help please. thanks Stephen

p.s. i think it may have started around the same time we tried recording in 96 bit.

well first off you don't want to be using glue.

is your harddrive full? is it an internal or external drive? sounds like your drive may be too full or fragmented, and trying to playback all those tracks at 96k esp if the drive is fragmented is too much for your computer.
