o/t: alesis qs 8.1

is anyone using this as a controller keyboard? how do you set it up to act as a controller for a proteus 2500 w/pure phatt expansion card? i'm trying to use this with pro-tools midi, but it's not working right. i'm getting someone to write me an environment so i can use it with digital performer, but i need to get it to work with pro-tools first...anyone?
