Crash on some Windows 10 systems
⚠️Known Issue⚠️
PTFirst crashing on some Windows 10 systems upon opening/creating a project. It may happen on different Windows 10 systems and builds. The root causing the crash is currently being investigated and sorted and a new version will be out soon as it's fixed. Feel free to use the Trial version of Pro Tools Ultimate as a workaround while waiting for the fix. Thank you -Tope |

Re: Crash on some Windows 10 systems
Hi, if you look at the hardware, people who have this issue are using a Dell laptop.
I'm using myself a Dell laptop and I had to switch to another daw after trying thousands of solutions (ASIO4ALL, etc). Nothing works. I think there's something wrong with the driver of the Realtek sound card. You should contact this manufacturer. On Cakewalk, the system has also difficulty to start (I can hear the sound card initialization run and rerun several times), but I works. Apparently they have found a workaround. Thank you |
