Carbon Ultimate/Autotune Promo

The registration options are for licenses you ALREADY have and do not pertain to the PT Ult Perp license, you get that one either way.

So Carbon comes with, outside of the Promo PT Ult Perp & ATH, with an option to extend a PT license you ALREADY own for an additional year OR receive a NEW PT Standard license.

but unfortunately it came literally 20 seconds too late, as I just clicked on option 1. which is obviously not ideal (already own Ultimate Perpetual with active Subscription plan).

quick follow up:

after sleeping over this, it is actually nice to have a second "carbon license" to keep for a second editing station. After all I am happy to have chosen not to extend my existing ultimate license (will continue to do that anyways).

Now for the Ultimate license from the current promo: it indeed appears under "products not yet downloaded" and when pressing that button a download code appears under "REDEEM YOUR CODE".

Should I wish to sell this Ultimate license from the promo, would it be ok to send the potential buyer this code and so that he/she can then retrieve the license to their personal AVID account and have it appear their ilok?

Can't wait to see what's on the horizon for Carbon. I have always been a fan of the tight integration of HW/SW with AVID/Digidesign and Pro Tools.

As I've noted here and other places recently, Carbon and the "Hybrid Engine" fills a gap for me and has really helped workflow.

AND, in my opinion, sounds stellar. I often employ the variable impedence on various microphones with certain singers. The affect can be anywhere from very interesting to not so much. But it is a great tool.

And I still keep coming back to the 4 discrete HP sends. That, to me is huge. I've said all of this before, but just wanted to say thanks from and early adopter.

I will have to check this out as I have not yet changed anything from what ever the default is. But for example I have noticed I have to run my pair of AEA N 22 phantom powered ribbons at near the highest input to get them to give me even a -12 -14 db channel meter reading ...

Has there been some announcement yet that I missed on this? I bought mine in May of this year, took the vanilla license that came with it.....
