beach ball SOLVED.

Beach ball SOLUTION (for me); I had the presence of mind to update the driver (DISPLAY ADAPTER) in the Device Manager. I also updated the driver for my NETGEAR WIRELESS USB adapter in the NETWORK ADAPTERS-also in the Device Manager. Good luck.
