Try making your onboard soundcard the default for Windows sounds/audio and leave the 003 for Pro Tools only.

This has nothing to do with your 003.

Lots of people have problem driving the click track/plugins properly at different times. You may know how to do this but we can't guess that or exactly what you are doing. What exact click plugin are you using etc? Pro Tools 11 and 12 uses Click II. What exact click plugin are you trying to instantiate on that click track? Screen shots are likely needed here showing all you click plugin and other click settings.

And try opening a different demo session with a click track and seeing if that works. Or creating a new empty session with a click track and post some useful info.

Again we have no clue what *exactly* you are doing or what the problem here is. What exactly is/is not working? Does playback of standard recorded audio work? Click work then? Click only work when recording? etc.

Post useful details and screen shots or try what I have suggested. Are you doing this from scratch in a new empty session? Or are you importing a Pro Tools 10 session with a click track? We cannot guess... Screen shots... or all relevant click settings.

Next time, check Click/Countoff options(under one of the drop-down menus). I bet it was set to only work during record, or maybe during a count-off(probably some random keyboard combination you hit by accident).

Great, but I'm sure what fixed the problem, like Dave I more suspect it was as settings issue.
