Fxpansion wrapper w/vsts - saving Presets in PT9?

Is at all possible to save Presets from 3rd party vst's using the preset system in PT9?

If so whats the method you use?

The problem with saving wrapped plug-in settings in Pro Tools is those settings can only be used in Pro Tools. If the Plug-In supports a built-in save function then perhaps this method serves a better purpose with multiple hosts.

Yeah that's okay,I actually have the presets saved in other hosts already..I should have been more specific..I basically just wanna know how or if at all it's possible to save wrapper presets using the pro tools file system?

When I try to save them,they bring up a message and it won't allow me to "save setting as" any clues,on why it won't?

Here's the message I get when trying to save a patch using the "save setting as" feature in PT 9.. again this is using a wrapper by fxpansion - the plugin is steinberg hypersonic 2..

Cannot create a file when that file already exists. (183) c:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-In Settings\VSTW Hypersonic

So are you saying you get this message when you try to save a preset from 3rd party?

I've never used the wrappers,but I'm sure someone who has will be able to confirm if they can save presets or not..Seems like that would be a real big issue if Pro Tools didn't allow that.

Does HyperSonic actually play nice under wrapper? Personally, I have no problem saving plug-in settings with a VSTW.
