Default Already having problems with pro tools.

Alright so I just bought and installed pro tools. I keep getting errors that say that my cpus or conflicting or the computer held off interupts for too long....and this is just with the demo file. Why Is this happening?

I have Protools LE-7.4 and an MBOX2. My laptop has 4 gigs of ram, an nVideo 8700, 2.4ghz duel processing. I have the program files installed on my C drive and have an external drive for the audio files.

Was I supposed to install pro tools in my C drive?

Yes.

You said it correctly in your first post "I have the program files installed on my C drive and have an external drive for the audio files".

Pt should be in it's default location on the C:system drive. Your PT sessions and related files on a secondary drive.
