Problems with Pro Tools 7.4 **PLEASE HELP**

K so I bought a Mbox2 bundle kit or whatever you call it like a year and a half ago and it came with Pro Tools 7.3. I just bought a brand new Imac which is running Mac OSX 10.5. I hooked my mbox up to the computer and I installed protools but it installed 7.4.2 which is the new version I guess but after it was installed and I go to open it, it asked for my authorization code. I type my authorization code in and it says it doesnt work. Ive been trying different things and uninstalling stuff and reinstalling things for the last 2 days and Im getting really tired. On digidesign it says the 7.4.2 update is free if you got the 7.3 version which I do, and which is why I guess it just installed 7.4.2 but like my code isnt working!! Do I have to put out $75 to buy 7.4.2? I just spent like $400 a year ago getting all this.

The Leopard compatible version (7.4.2) is free for existing 7.4 owners but it's a paid upgrade for 7.3 users. Your 7.3 code will not work. However, you may be entitled to 7.4 as an amnesty upgrade but will need to register the Mbox to find out.
