Default Audio Clips/Songs don't transfer in PT file.

PT File created on my iMac will open on my new MacBook Pro, but none of the audio files show up. Running PT Studio on both. Basically using one stereo file with multiple clips/song tracks for backing live performance. I already spoke with Apple about permissions & authorizations. All is well. So, anyone know how to get past this?

How is the session moving between the 2 computers? My first guess is; somebody did a Save Session Copy, but forgot to check the box to include all the audio files?

More info needed. Is this a local or cloud session?

If it’s a cloud session, did you allow everything to sync before quitting the session on the old machine?

If it’s a local session, did you copy the entire session folder, or did you only copy the .ptx file to the new machine?

Enquiring minds want to know.

Thanks for replies! Turns out new MacBook Pro had to be “authorized” by me. Also, I did need to copy all file information, not just the ptx file. And copy the source file for all the songs.

Thank you!
