Default Mac Osx Two user account but one system setting

hi

i have my imac setup so i have a music a office account.

on the office i'd like the hard-drive's to go to sleep and the screen saver to come on when needed... and obviously all of this should be disabled on my music account for a stable PT perfomance

However no matter what i do if i set it in music then it changes in office and vice-versa... any ideas? or should i try making an apple script that loads and changes these setting upon start of the respective account

thanks

P.S. i do realize this has bugger all to do with PT

I have the same setup on my G5. Although you have two accounts, the systems prefs will apply to both! I'm not well versed on apple scripts, but maybe someone on the apple forum could give some insight!

The screen saver and other power management settings are a universal preference, located at MacHD>Library>Preferences>System Configuration>com.apple.PowerManagement.plist.

Writing a quick script to swap that file for the current account would probably do the trick.
