SCSI Drive Nightmare!
I unmounted my SCSI drive (36gb cheetah in glyph trip) and put into another rig. Ran Express Tools and it comes up with a error message "cannot read disk, do you want to eject or innitialize"
I have tried Norton Volume Recovering, and spent $69.99 on Disk Warrior and have got nowhere. I need this data!!!!! PLEASE! Any suggestions??????? |

Re: SCSI Drive Nightmare!
Check SCSI cables for bent pins and make sure it's properly terminated. If not, try Techtool Pro. It's saved many drives for me.
Try putting it back on the rig you had it on before too, see if it shows up there. |

Re: SCSI Drive Nightmare!
Personally, as a test, I'd move it back to the rig it came from and see if it still works there. If it does, I'd back up the data really fast.
Make sure to wear a static draining, grounded wrist strap when you're working with drives (especially if you're in a northerm clime during the low humidity time of year). Lee Blaske |

Re: SCSI Drive Nightmare!
Try forcing 'update driver' in atto express. Reboot. Then try Disk Warrior
