I saw them Wednesday night at the MCI Center in DC. It was a great show but I still prefer the old lineup.

hmm... well they played all the old hits at the garden... It was a great show. I work for the company that was providing the sound system so i got in on crew. I was sitting in the "booth" with Jim and Flo the whole show along with some other guys from work. Lol.. Tony Hawk was in there too. That Venue board is soo cool. Jim was so organized... snapshops of everysong... it was so cool watching him do everything.

I always wondered, how do you get into doing work like that? I'm 25, and the last show I went to a few weeks ago (Danzig) I was watching the sound guys in the back carefully turning the knobs and whatnot, and I was thinking I might like to do something like that.

I saw them in Austin, Tx a few months ago, and again last month at the larger venue in San Antonio, Tx. I prefered the musicians on the fragility tour, but I must say this show was visually spectacular, and minus the reverberation in the arena, the sound was awesome. The NIN catalog at this point in Reznor's career is so diverse and made for an awesome show. At the Austin show I noticed a 002R with the venue rig, and wondered how the LE interface was being used.

Yes, I am well aware the 002r is for recording LE,

that was why I was wondering if anyone had
any ideas why an 002r rig was with the Venue system.

I saw them with QOTSA at the Bowl in Hollywood, CA.... So how much of the show do you think was live? Good show.

Yeah QOTSA is touring with them. How much of the show do i think was live? I wasn't really paying attention to the Queens of the stonage... but NIN Everything except for that Video was live I'm pretty sure. I was watching all the meters on the board moving... and Jim was activly using hte effects on Trents voice and the guitars and stuff while the songs came up so it sounded just liek the studio recording... it was so cool. Line6 modeler and McDSP on Trents voice... and some 1176 Compressor plugin (it was purple)...

Why do you know something i don't about them acctually playing? I know they were usings Drum triggers on some of the songs for the techno sounds. It was an amazing visial show as well.
