Default Which MTP

Just bought MixPlus3 & G4. I have 3 Adats & controller.My Question is, do I have to spend
$500 on a MTP.What are my options? Please Help?

Unless you are in need of ADAT sync, the lower-priced 8-port MOTU seems to do just about everything most people need: stripe SMPTE, lock to MTC, etc.

I have the MTP A/V and it's really more than what I need 99.99% of the time.
